The Golden Triangle is a isoceles triangle and has the following properties:

It has two and one angles

It has sides which are proportion of and 1. (see figure 1:)

The Golden Spiral was done by finding golden cut points in our original triangle ABC and then keept on bisecting the angles. (see figure 2&3)
